Child care is a critical part of a thriving community and families, children, and early childhood educators across Boulder County are feeling the strain of a system at a breaking point.
Join SVP Boulder County and Longmont Community Foundation for a community conversation about 1A Brighter Start Boulder County, a November ballot measure designed to strengthen our local child care system. We’ll learn more about the measure, hear about the challenges facing families and child care providers, and explore how 1A would invest in more affordable care, expand access to infant and toddler care, and support the early childhood workforce. Bring your questions and curiosity!
The panel discussion will begin promptly at 4pm. Refreshments and light snacks will be provided.
Navigating Disruption. Building What’s Next.
The future isn’t waiting.
Artificial intelligence. Workforce shortages. Rising costs. Political uncertainty. Industry transformation. Across every sector, leaders are being asked to make bigger decisions in a world that feels less predictable than ever.
Yet Boulder has never been a community that waits for change to happen. We innovate. We adapt. We lead.
Join more than 300 business, community, education, research, and government leaders for a dynamic half-day summit exploring the forces reshaping our economy—and the opportunities emerging from them.
The Summit is beyond just another economic forecast or a conversation about disruption – it’s a toolkit for navigating it. Attendees will gain practical frameworks and actionable strategies to:
Identify vulnerabilities before they become crises
Prepare for multiple economic, workforce, and technology scenarios
Strengthen organizational resilience and decision-making
Adapt more quickly to changing market conditions
Transform disruption into innovation, growth, and competitive advantage
