NOCOFest is an annual community festival hosted by Avery’s Light – a nonprofit supporting individuals with disabilities in Northern Colorado. It’s a lively, inclusive event combining food, music, and local vendors, all with the goal of raising awareness and funds to empower people with special needs through therapy, recreation, and support services. It’s not just a festival – it’s a celebration of inclusion, resilience, and community spirit.

About Avery’s Light:
Avery’s Light is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Northern Colorado, founded in honor of Avery — a courageous girl with special needs. Our mission is to empower individuals with special needs through resources, therapy, and recreation, and to foster an inclusive community that celebrates every person. NOCOFest is our signature celebration and primary fundraiser: a one-night gathering of music, food, and community that makes the rest of the year’s work possible.

The Annual Flood & Peterson Symposium connects business professionals and industry experts for meaningful conversations about challenges and opportunities shaping today’s world of work.

This year’s keynote, Is AI Strategy a Human Strategy, takes on one of today’s biggest workplace conversations: AI and the future of work. Chris Laping challenges us to look beyond technology and consider the human elements that ultimately determine its impact – culture, trust, clarity, and connection.
With an inspiring keynote, interactive breakout sessions, five focused educational tracks, and opportunities to connect with peers and industry experts, the Symposium is more than a conference – it’s a day to learn, connect, and leave better prepared for what’s ahead.

One day. Powerful conversations. Practical ideas. Meaningful connections. Moments that matter.

You are invited to an evening of inspiration and connection!

* Stay independent and age in place
* Reach vital appointments and patron businesses
* Feel seen, supported, and part of a caring community
You help build a Northern Colorado where no one is left behind because they can’t drive.
Be part of the journey. Be part of the community. Be a SAINT.

A hands-on build day for future podcasters. Walk in with an idea, walk out with your podcast name, format, platform, and launch plan.

You have a podcast idea. This is the day it stops being an idea.

This is a build day, not a lecture. You’ll work through your name, your format, your platform, and your plan right there in class. Bring a laptop and you can have your hosting platform set up before class ends.

Who this is for:
Business owners, creatives, and anyone in Northern Colorado who’s been thinking “I want to start a podcast” for longer than they’d like to admit.

An Evening of Elegance, Impact, and Community

The Hope Grows Here Gala is the premier annual fundraising event benefiting Crossroads Safehouse & Services. Each year, community leaders, business partners, advocates, and generous supporters gather for an evening dedicated to one clear purpose: ensuring survivors of domestic violence in Northern Colorado have access to safety, justice, and long-term stability.

This signature event fuels the core programs of Crossroads Safehouse & Services and advances bold initiatives designed to strengthen our region’s coordinated response to domestic violence.

The Hope Grows Here Gala is not simply a celebration. It is a strategic investment in safety, accountability, and lasting change.

Each year, the Weld Community Foundation’s Spread the Good Luncheon brings our community together in a unique way, celebrating the spirit of philanthropy through inspiring experiences.

There are stories that carry across generations—of the courage of those who first arrived, the vision of those who built, and the quiet faithfulness of those who chose to stay and serve.

In celebration of Colorado’s 150th birthday and our nation’s 250th, the Weld Community Foundation is honored to present Legends of Weld County, the theme of this year’s Spread the Good Luncheon. Through storytelling, music, poetry, and Chautauqua-style performance, we will encounter the lives of pioneers, founders, and community-builders whose courage shaped the land and people we know today. These living portraits of history will invite us to reflect on where we have come from and the enduring spirit that continues to guide our community forward.

Thank you for considering this invitation to an afternoon of inspiration and connection, as we honor those who came before and imagine the legacy we will leave behind.

Growth by Design: Connecting Communities, Commerce & Infrastructure

How is our region growing—and what does it mean for your business?

Growth doesn’t happen by chance. It happens by design.

Join business leaders, elected officials, and regional experts for the Carbon Valley Chamber’s annual State of the Region, where we’ll explore the decisions, investments, and partnerships shaping the future of Carbon Valley.

Rather than looking at growth through a single lens, this year’s event will explore how decisions in one area ripple across the entire region. From transportation infrastructure and economic development to housing,  workforce, and regional collaboration, hear directly from the leaders making decisions today that will impact our communities and businesses for years to come.

Fork Around & Find Out is the first Restaurant Week in Greeley history, introducing two full weeks of tasty tourism across the city from Monday, October 19th – Sunday, November 1st, 2026. The event celebrates Greeley’s diverse food and beverage scene by bringing new and returning customers to local establishments through curated specials. Restaurants, food trucks, coffee shops, distilleries, breweries, bakeries, and other food and beverage businesses in Greeley are thinking outside the menu, serving up limited-time specials for $15, $25, or both.

The City of Greeley, the Downtown Development Authority, the Greeley Chamber of Commerce, Visit Greeley, and other partners have collaborated to curate an event so unapologetically delicious, it’ll knock your napkin off. Given the diverse foodscape in Greeley, one week wasn’t enough—so a two-week mouthwatering tour awaits Greeley residents and visitors alike. The event aims to bring together at least 50 locations to sample from, with specials ranging from tasting menus to seasonal beverages to grab-and-go bakery boxes.

Let’s chow down, cow town!
